Rapids of Sadness
Peřeje smutku (Rapids of Sadness) represent a completely new fusion of pure piano and synthetic sounds connected with stringed instruments, which I tested in my work. The peaceful beginning, carried in the spirit of the delicate pitch of the violin with a contrasting piano, will gradually turn into a deeper beat of the whole section.
The composition is crowned with a refrain composed of sixths progressions and a spark obtained by an unusual major transition. The composition was a reaction to my personal experiences at the time - fluffy sadness (hence the name Rapids), something was still going on that would not give things a break.
This
composition was very important to me at the time of its creation and
strengthened its importance even more over time. It laid the foundations of
where my work began to go and set the direction and trend it is heading to this
day.
